Let’s dive into gate 43 in human design the gate of insights. It is in gate 43 that we have sudden/spontaneous awareness of whether an individual knows or not. Now, this knowing might not be of value for anybody. This is the awareness of the possibilities of spontaneous resolution. This is the voice of the muse and the inner ear. This is the inner dialogue. This whole stream of individuality is that sudden awareness is an inner dialogue of awareness. It is an innate inner I know. Now, the expression of that knowing is an entirely different thing, but it is a felt mental inner I know. It is a very particular path to be able to explain the sudden awareness and inner dialogue into an externalized dialogue and expression.

The achievement that gate 43 is looking for is the ability to explain their knowledge. If they cannot explain what they know, they will likely feel inadequate. It is in this gate that relates to both the 28 – is life really worthwhile and gate 57 – am I afraid of tomorrow? This energy of the 43 is afraid of tomorrow if they know that they have to explain themselves, and they are not sure if they can.

Of course, in this individual process, they are attracting attention and, conversely, rejection. Particularly if they cannot explain themselves, this can emerge as the deep anxiety and fear of the mind that no one will understand them. No one will know what they mean. Or that they will be rejected because people know what they want. This is fundamentally a challenge for all of the individual processes, such as learning to communicate so that you can explain yourself.

The Depths of Gate 43 in Human Design

This is all about the depth necessary to bring about individual insight. This is all about knowing what you know, and to know your knowing, you have to be willing to go to the depth with it. Of course, the opposite is true – delighting in the insight but lack of depth. This is the energy of saying I know but have no ability to explain it, which also lives in the 43.

What can I do to develop more trust in my inner knowing?
What I am holding on to needs to be released so I can better trust my own inner knowing.
Am I honoring my need to spend time alone to hear my own inner thoughts?
Do I trust that I will be able to express my inner knowing?
How can I deepen my connection with my knowing?
Do I have evidence of when my knowing was correct?
