Your Ideal Client and Your Human Design Profile Lines

When I work with clients to support them in discerning who their ideal client using their human design profile and how I magnetize them to me with more ease and consistency, I always keep the Lines of their human design profile. in mind. Part of the reason I do this is because our Line gives us clarity, nuance and depth into the role that we are playing. If you think of each Line and each profile as having a role or a job in the greater collective cycle, it becomes imperative for you to convey that to your potential clients, AND simultaneously, you need to be clear about it for yourself. Each Line plays a role, and it is our job to convey that to our ideal clients.

Setting clear expectations conveys to our ideal client what we are and are not available for, the boundaries of the space we hold, and what transformation we deliver. When we FAIL to convey the nuance and roles of our lines which make up our profiles, we often get ourselves into challenges with our clients. We end up feeling resentful, angry, frustrated, or disappointed. We end up in the not-self, we burn out, or even worse, we may want to burn our businesses to the ground. Conveying who we are at the ecocentric self is key to magnetizing clients we love who are READY for the space and transformation we hold space for. 

We are ready to move into a new paradigm of business, embracing our HD and building a regenerative business ecosystem by design. In that case, we must first embrace how we are designed to work in concert with others.

We must take responsibility for communicating that to our potential clients, our existing clients, and the world around us. We are not all here to operate in the same way, and we each need to hold space for others and their way of moving through the world as well as our own in order to embrace the Whole-Self™ Business.

The Human Design Profile Line 1 – Investigator Researcher – 

What the Line 1 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 I am a subject matter expert and authority in my domain

The first Line is here to gain depth of knowledge because they did the research on it. The research they have done is making the foundation safer and more secure and making things better for the collective.

 I have an established foundation

First lines have a way; they are experts. They aren’t here to be questioned. They have spent hours researching, hemming, hawing, and getting curious. They need the ideal client to know that their way is the safest, most secure foundation way to move from a place of weakness to one of strength.

 I can let empathy get the best of me.

The first lines relate to the other through empathy. This can and often does especially in client relationship create boundary creep because they want to help and they can see the other is in a place of insecurity and they want to help them move out of that. This is not ideal for first lines because they often don’t have the depth when this happens and this lead to client disappointment.

The Human Design Profile Line 2 – Hermit Introvert- 

What the Line 2 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 Let me show you the possibility instead of trying to explain it

Second lines aren’t here to explain their process. They are here to show their ideal client, and by showing their ICA, the ICA is transformed.

 I am naturally talented.

Second lines are naturally talented, but that doesn’t mean that they need to save their ideal client with whatever that client needs because that will lead to exhaustion.

 I need an environment that nourishes me.

Second lines need to be nourished with alone time in order to live in alignment. This means they need an environment that feels good to them. That they can have the space to do their own thing in.

The Human Design Profile Line 3 – Martyr Experimeneter – 

What the Line 3 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 I need space and grace.

As a third line – my process can be messy at times. I am keenly aware of this, and my head trash is already beating me over it. It only makes me feel worse when people point it out to me

 I am not going to settle

Third Line is not okay with settling, and so if they see a better way through, they need their ideal client to know that they need to adapt to the changes that they see. They need their ICA to have a bit of flexibility and embrace their 3rd line process.

 I value action.

Third lines are here to get into the thick of it and it may make them crazy if their ideal client wants to stay in the planning and strategy process for long periods of time. Because thirds know no matter how much you plan clarity comes in action.

The Human Design Profile Line 4 – Opportunist Mayor – 

What the Line 4 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 I am not here to influence strangers.

Fourth-line success comes from their inner circle. The ideal client clients of the fourth Line come from the inner circle or network of the 4th Line. 4th Lines need you to align with their truths, values, and beliefs and come into their worlds by introduction.

 I need you to accept me as I am.

Line 4’s aren’t here to be influenced or swayed by others. They are here to influence but they are not here to be influence. As an ideal client of a 4th line, I need you to accept me as I am and not question or badger me.

 I am clear on my truths.

As a fourth line, I know what I stand for and the opportunity I see. I have my truths and beliefs, and this is what I inject into my business and marketing if you resonate with these or were introduced to me through a friend or colleague.

The Human Design Profile Line 5 – Heretic Disrupter – 

What the Line 5 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 I do not settle or compromise on my approach.

Fifth lines aren’t here to compromise or settle or change up their approach for their ideal clients. There is a method to the fifth line madness. Clients need to understand that when we ask a fifth line to compromise it results in chaos and a negative projection. We hire fifth lines to show us a new disruptive way. Embrace that.

 I clearly communicate my expectations and responsibilities AND your expectations and responsibilities

Fifth lines are not responsible for taking action for their clients in most instances. The Fifth Line needs to clearly communicate throughout the relationship and especially at the onset what the fifth Line will and won’t do. What they are and aren’t responsible for. As well as what the potential client is responsible for. The expectation setting for the fifth Line is key.

 I am not for everyone.

Fifth lines are not for everyone. Their approach and way of doing business are often before their time. They see the world through a very different lens, which often odds with what is widely accepted. Protentional clients need to be ready to transform when working with a fifth line.

The Human Design Profile Line 6 – Role Model Mentor- 

What the Line 6 Human Design Profile Needs to Convery to their Ideal Client

 I am not here to hold your hand and lock arms. I lead from the back.

The sixth Line is here to be of the council. They mentor those who come into their world. Yet, they are not here to hold hands and walk alongside others on their journey. They provide their objective stamp of approval on their client’s journey, and then both parties go on their merry way.

 I need space and freedom to observe and then engage.

Sixth lines aren’t here to be engaged with their potential clients all the time. They need space to observe to gain clarity and objectivity then they reengage. When we force sixth lines to be constantly engage they may struggle to retain their objectivity.

 I can’t give you a stamp of approval on every aspect of your life.

Sixth lines are mentors here to guide potential clients to where they want to be. However potential clients need to know it is exhausting when sixth lines are tasked to be of council on every single aspect of their potential clients’ lives.
